Jon Cazenave, basque artist and his first publication Herri Ixielan, (in the quiet country) deep and powerful images an internal trip of the artist trying to find his roots around the basque country.
we decide to design a book that can translate the feeling of the photographs, we decided to make all pages black with a minimal difference of the full black on the images so the viewer can see where the image ends. For the cover we made the title on UV transparent varnish to represent the silent scream.

Jon Cazenave, artista vasco y su primera publicación Herri Ixielan, (en el país silencioso) imágenes profundas y de gran alcance de un viaje interior del artista intentando encontrar las raíces de su apellido en el país vasco.
Queríamos diseñar un libro que puede traducir el sentimiento de las fotografías y decidimos hacer todas las páginas negras con una mínima diferencia del negro en las imágenes para que se pueda diferenciar la imagen del resto de la página. Para la portada hicimos el título en barniz UV transparente para representar el grito silencioso.
